2:00pm Guest Speaker – Katrina Pokorny will speak on her trip to Haiti. Katrina is entering the 11th grade at Waupun High School. In August she traveled to Haiti with her mom to teach basics in beekeeping and how to make lip balms, soaps, and lotion bars with beeswax.

SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL HONEY MONTH — all members who have extracted a crop of honey are invited to bring 1 jar of your liquid gold to compare flavor and color. If you’re unsure of the nectar source, we have some excellent taste-testers who may be able to identify the floral source.
