Honey Queen Receives Scholarship
Honey Queen Mary Haecker of Watertown thanked the club for the experiences she had promoting honey and bees to the public during 2015. Club president Louis Antonioni presented Mary with a scholarship check.
2015 Youth In Beekeeping
Our younger beekeepers are the future. Dodge/Jefferson Co. Beekeepers recognized Riley Kappell of Lebanon and Colton Klecker of Jefferson, as both successfully completed their 2015 Youth in Beekeeping program. They learned a lot about beekeeping and plan to continue to keep bees next year.
Beekeeper of the Year
Steve & Nancy Auchtung of Oakfield were awarded Beekeeper of the Year at the December meeting. Steve and Nancy have been members since 2012 and are always ready to learn, help, and share their experiences in beekeeping.
